Jump Pond lies in a pleasant setting at the base of Level Hill in the town of Palermo. Wild brook trout were occasionally caught here in the past, but with increased competition from warm water fishes, trout are nearly extinct. Smallmouth bass and largemouth bass have now become well established and offer very good fishing to the summer angler.
