Cargill Pond Description

Cargill Pond is a small picturesque pond. It provides good habitat for largemouth bass and the large population of golden shiners provides excellent forage for the bass. Bass were introduced by the Department in 1957 and 1958. A self-sustaining bass population now exists with many good catches of fish reported.
