| Location Details: | Maine Atlas map 23 A-2, Map 33 E-2 or Maine Fishing depth maps page 120 This lake lies in the towns of Orono, Dutton and Kirkland, Penobscot county. It is about 8 miles long and one mile wide. It empties into Dead stream, which meets the Penobscot at Orono. Pushaw Lake is formed by Pushaw Lake Dam on the Pushaw Stream in Penobscot County, Maine and is used for recreation, among other things. Construction of Pushaw Lake Dam was completed in 1920. At normal levels it has a surface area of 7.9 square miles. It is property of Kukunsook Campowners Association, Pushaw Lake Boat Club. Pushaw Lake in southcentral Maine hotels, boating, fishing, campgrounds, and lakeside rental properties. |
