  • I have a camp down the way from this lake. I have been meaning to get out on it in a boat and see what she has to offer. Anyone been out there with some success? I wonder if there are any trout holdovers?

Clearwater Pond Description

Clearwater Pond is nestled among low hills that are heavily forested with pines, spruce, fir, and cedar. The pond can be reached by a 10-mile walk from Attean. Clearwater is not very deep, but the average depth is high because the bottom drops sharply everywhere except in the shallow water area at the southwestern end. The water is clear and cold, but the oxygen is low below 25 feet. Trout would not be present in the deepest water in late summer.
